Amazon highlights, in one of its latest commercials, that when you find you just don’t need it, Amazon welcomes you to easy returns.
The 30-second ad features a father trying to keep up with his daughter, who’s experimenting various activities, from doing ballet to playing soccer to skateboarding. Luckily, the man, who uses the Amazon app to order the necessary gear for him and the girl, can also benefit from easy returns.
“Amazon is for dads who keep up,” an onscreen line reads while the voiceover points out that Amazon has got everything you need and easy returns for all. “Welcome, everyone,” the voiceover also says at the end of the spot, which informs there are low prices and free shipping on millions of items.
The song used in the ad is Ipswich singer Ashton Jones’s version of Freddie Scott’s single “You Got What I Need”.
This is not the first time Ashton Jones, the face and voice of The Ashton Jones Project, sings for an Amazon commercial.
He was also one of the vocalists performing “Can You Feel It?” by The Jackson 5 in the Christmas campaign of the shopping giant. A previous commercial, that focuses on the company’s package tracking service, also features Jones’s rendition of “You Got What I Need”.
