Powerade Crystal Dunn Commercial Song – See the Power. Be the Power

Powerade Women's Soccer Commercial

Powerade invites you to see, in a new commercial entitled “Making of a Champion,” the hard work and challenges players like U.S. Women’s National Team Crystal Dunn face on their journey to becoming a professional soccer player, and how they inspire the next generation of female soccer players.

The 45-second spot takes viewers back in time, on July 10, 1999, when the young Crystal, watching a women’s soccer game on TV at her home, decided she wanted to pursue the same career. The following scenes show her practicing as much as possible throughout the rest of her childhood and her teenage years, becoming eventually a U.S. national soccer sensation and inspiring girls to pursue their dreams.

The commercial ends with the tagline “See the Power. Be the Power.” flashing across the screen, while a little girl wearing a Dunn jersey sits in front of her television, watching Dunn on the field. The brand’s Zero Mixed Berry and Mountain Berry Blast beverages are also shown on screen as another line informs that Powerade is the Official Sports Drink of the U.S. Women’s National Team.

The soundtrack music is the 2018 single “Do What I Do” by Cleveland-based musician Lady Bri (born Brianne Bryant).
