Prime Video UK has released the trailer for the upcoming documentary Jonas Brothers’ Chasing Happiness, which chronicles Jonas Brothers’ journey to pop superstardom, their stunning breakup and the reunion that inspired their upcoming album, “Happiness Begins”.
Described as “a story of brotherhood,” the documentary explores the bond between the three brothers – Joe, Kevin and Nick – the sons of a pastor in New Jersey, who were also the best friends, and gives viewers, through deeply personal interviews and previously unreleased footage, a look into their lives as they changed once they rose to fame, to their surprising breakup, which led the teenagers down very different paths, and more. The trailer features Joe, Nick, and Kevin talking about their childhood, about the beginning of their career in music, about the record deal signed with Disney that brought them a huge success, about the moment Nick came up with the idea of not forming a band anymore and other topics.
“I found that success isn’t always tied to fame and fortune,” says Nick, who is also featured as a groom in footage from his exclusive yet lavish wedding with Priyanka Chopra, which took place on December 1, 2018, in the presence of their closest friends and family.
The song used in the ad is the band’s singles “S.O.S.” and “Sucker”.
Chasing Happiness launched on June 4 only on Amazon Prime Video.
