Evian The Baby Bare Necessities Advert Song

Evian Advert - The Baby Bare Necessities

Evian babies are back to the small screen in a new commercial for the brand, created by BETC.

Released with the tagline “Living young,” the spot features the iconic babies doing a variety of things, from riding bikes through city streets to playing tennis with 2016 French Open champ Garbiñe Muguruza. At the end of the spot, one of the babies is seen tossing a bottle into a recycling bin, which is a nod toward the brand’s commitment to making all of its bottles out of recycled plastic by 2025.

Serving as soundtrack is a hip-hop version of “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book, performed by rising rap star Jay Prince.

Evian babies became a YouTube sensation 10 years ago, when they first appeared and impressed the world with their dance moves and rollerblading skills. In 2017, they were featured in an ad wearing oversized clothing.

The new commercial, set to air in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and the UK, is complemented by print, out-of-home and on-pack elements as part of the campaign, featuring three baby “gangs”: baby voguers, baby tennis players and baby bikers.
