Serta Mattresses advertises its “Your Baby Is Your Coupon” Sale Event in a hilarious new commercial, featuring a couple of sleep-deprived parents.
The 45-second spot shows the things the two tired parents end up doing because of the lack of rest. The father is brushing his teeth with hemorrhoid cream, is putting the dirty laundry in the dish washer, and is pouring dishsoap on his waffle at breakfast. The mother is not better, either – she is pouring coffee in a pot and even drinks from it, puts her phone in the toaster and is trying to answer a phone call from a slice of bread. When they both fall asleep on the couch, exhausted, the baby is heard crying, which obviously makes them wake up immediately.
At the end of the spot, the voiceover highlights that you can bring in your baby at the retailer’s “Your Baby Is Your Coupon” Sale for a free gift with purchase or discount on a new Serta mattres.
