Irina Shayk is donning a black look with gold accents for the latest installment in Versace’s SS19 advertising campaign.
The spot features the supermodel sitting in an empty room, wearing a sleeveless, A-line dress in silk satin, with thin shoulder straps and a cowl neck and back and a side leg split, accessorized with lots of gold pieces of jewelry. The word “Versace” is written near her in black ribbon, which she folds.
The soundtrack music is “Swan Lake: Ballet Suite” by Sung Eun Choi.
Shayk is not the only supermodel to star in solo shots. Bella Hadid and Shalom Harlow (who closed the fashion house’s runway show) have also posed in front of Steven Meisel for a series of portraits. The group images also include Rianne van Rompaey, Adut Akech, Imaan Hammam, Kris Grikaite, Blesnya Minher, and Vittoria Ceretti.
With the launch of Spring/Summer 2019 campaign, Versace pays tribute to its 90’s Richard Avedon advertisements.
