Tel Aviv 12 Points Jerusalem – Douze Points Advert Song – Feat. Model Shir Elmaliach

A new commercial that encourages people to visit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem is now running in multiple markets across Europe.

The spot, released by Israeli Ministry of Tourism, features Ido Danker and Sagi Braitner performing an original song that praises the beauty and the attractions of the two cities. Israeli top model Shir Elmaliach is also making a special appearance.

The song the two artists are singing, written by Dankner, has the following lyrics:

This is not the first global campaign launched to promote tourism in Israel. A previous campaign, carrying the tagline “Two Sunny Cities. One Break.” featured Israeli supermodel Shir Elmaliach and British TV host Sian Welby in a video that uses Instagram’s stories aesthetics as it follows the two young women when they travel together in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Directed by Tal Zagreba, the commercial was set to the tune of Boney M’s “Sunny”.

The new brand new clip comes ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, which marks the 64th edition of the musical contest, scheduled to take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, following the country’s victory at the 2018 edition with the song “Toy”, performed by Netta Barzilai. The contest will be held at Expo Tel Aviv, the city’s convention centre, and will consist of two semi-finals on 14 and 16 May, and the final on 18 May 2019.

The three shows will be hosted by four presenters: TV host Erez Tal and supermodel Bar Refaeli will be the main hosts, and TV host Assi Azar, who works for the Israeli Channel 12, and KAN host Lucy Ayoub, will be hosting the green room.
