Target advertises the upcoming limited-edition lifestyle collection created in collaboration with vineyard vines, in a new commercial, highlighting that it’s coming next month, on May 18.
The spot features several families as they are enjoying a sunny summer day outdoors, having fun. Some of them are seen riding bikes, others diving into the water, others passing on ice creams at the beach, where they’re having a picnic.
The song playing in the background is the 1994 single “Everybody’s Got Summer” by American band Atlantic Starr, from their 1994 album, “Time”.
With more than 300 items across home and outdoor goods, apparel, accessories and swim, the Vineyard vines for Target collection introduces a number of items that are a first for the vineyard vines brand, like many of the home and outdoor goods. The lineup will be available at all Target stores and on Target.com beginning Saturday, May 18 through July 13, or while supplies last. Prices range from $2 to $120, with most items under $35, and will be offered in sizes XS-3X for women, S-XXL for men, XS-XL for kids and 0-3M-5T for toddlers and babies.
The retailer announced its partnership with vineyard vines earlier this year, in February. Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, said in a press statement “We worked closely with the vineyard vines team to create a collection of well-designed, affordable items that are meant to bring people together, whether it’s for a shared meal with friends or a family trip to the beach. Launching just as summer kicks off, this is the perfect collection to help our guests create lasting memories with family and friends, all season long”.
Founded in 1998 by brothers Shep and Ian Murray, who took inspiration from Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, the brand, known for its smiling pink whale logo, has grown into an American lifestyle apparel brand with products for the entire family.
