Samsung has released a first official TV commercial for its Galaxy A range, presenting it as being “Built for the Era of Live”.

The 60-second spot, which features a diverse cast using the Galaxy A80, aims to highlight that you can now capture more and share more with an Ultra Wide lens with a field of 123-degree vision, keep connected with a long lasting battery, experience a truly uninterrupted view with New Infinity Display, and shoot epic on both sides with the innovative triple-lens rotating camera. “A is for selfie. A is for epic shots. A is for long lasting battery. A is for new Infinity Display. A is for Rotating Camera. Epic on both sides,” onscreen lines read throughout the commercial, which is set to the tune of “Ou La La La (All Eyes on Us)” by LA-based experimental indie pop, indietronica, and electropop project NVDES, from their 2018 album “Vibe City Utah”.

The brand informs that the Galaxy A80’s 48MP (F2.0) camera gives you “super crisp, clean resolution for shot-worthy moments,” the Ultra Wide Camera, with its incredible 123-degree field of vision, “is built to capture as wide as the human eye can see, live,” and the 3D Depth Camera “detects the subject of your photos or footage so you can keep the focus on what matters”. Galaxy A80 also includes a 3,700mAh battery that supports fast charging at 25W, it has 8GB of RAM, 128GB of onboard storage, and it includes an in-display fingerprint scanner. The new midrange phone is available in three colors: gold, white, and black. The New Infinity Display and Rotating Camera are only available for Galaxy A80. The Galaxy A80 will launch on May 29th, joining the Galaxy A10, A20, A30, and A50. The Galaxy A70 has its release date slated for April 26th.
