Michelob advertises its Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold in a new commercial, that encourages people to return to nature.
The cinematic-style spot, from creative agency FCB Chicago, is entitled “Call From Nature” and features a diverse range of people in different everyday situations – on the commute to work, during a business lunch, at work, as they unleash their inner animal and leave the busy city, heading into nature. They are seen climbing over cars, walking on their knuckles and even flying until they all reach the same destination.
Serving as soundtrack is the 2017 single “Energia” by American musical duo based in New York Sofi Tukker (consisting of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern). The song, included on the band’s 2018 album Treehouse, which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2018, has Brazilian Portuguese lyrics and charango chirrups.
The spot, inspired by the fitness trend known as Animal Flow, debuted during this year’s Oscars pre-show.
The brand, which says it celebrates beer in its pure organic form, informs that Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold is a USDA Certified Organic Light Lager with 2.5 carbs and 85 calories.
