Louis Vuitton has enlisted Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander and Lèa Seydoux to front its newest campaign, showcasing the house’s “New Classics” handbags.
The three young actresses, photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Marie-Amélie Sauvé, co-star in a 30-second commercial, rocking various versions of three coveted pieces – the Capucines, the Twist and the Dauphine. Set against the backdrop of a blank background, the video features Vikander wearing the Twist, Stone wearing the Capucines bag, and Seydoux wearing the Dauphine.
The soundtrack music is the “Dance” by American post-punk band ESG (Emerald Sapphire & Gold), from their 1983 debut album, “Come Away with ESG”.
Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander and Lea Seydoux are all brand ambassadors for the French luxury label and have starred in previous campaigns, as well. In 2016, Vikander appeared in a campaign for the Twist handbag and in 2018, Stone became officially associated with the Capuccines handbag, during her first campaign for the brand. French actress Lèa Seydoux was announced as a new Louis Vuitton face in 2016. In her first campaign, she was captured by Patrick Demarchelier at the colorful, modernist ranch Cuadra San Cristóbal, clad in creations from the Pre-AW16 collection, cradling Capucines and City Steamer handbags.
