Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming concert documentary “Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé,” described as “an intimate, in-depth look at Beyoncé’s celebrated 2018 Coachella performance,” which reveals the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement.
The film includes emotional footage giving insight into the preparation for the show, as well as interviews. “What I really want to do is be a representative of my race… of the human race. I have a chance to show how kind we can be, how intelligent and generous we can be. I have a chance to teach and to love and to laugh, and… I when that when I’m finished doing what I’m sent here to do, I will be called home. And I will go home without any fear or trepidation. I’m wondering what’s gonna happen, but…” the artist says in voiceover in the trailer, which also features various positive reviews made by important publications, like The New York Times, The Guardian, and more.
Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé launches globally on Netflix this month, April 17.
