Netflix has released the trailer for its new comedy-drama series Dead to Me, starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.

The cast also includes stars James Marsden, Ed Asner and Brandon Scott.
The trailer shows how the two women, named Jen and Judy, meet at a support group after losing their husbands and form an unlikely friendship, which evolves from nights out and joints on the beach after dark to Judy moving in Jen’s guest house, following Jen’s invitation. When some police officers show up at Jen’s doortstep looking for Judy, dark secrets from the latter’s past come to surface. Jen, on the other hand, is eager to find out the identity of the driver who killed her husband and then ran away, and on her quest she causes some damage. One of the scenes, for instance, features her smashing the mirror off a yellow Corvette.
The trailer features a catchy dance tune performed by a female, with lyrics like “this feeling’s good i’m feeling good i feel myself”.
