Carl’s Jr. advertises its new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger in a new commercial, featuring a talking pig.
The 30-second ad shows the animal as he walks through a forest and leads the man who’s following him to a place where he can find truffles. “You may probably think a talking pig should be in Hollywood. But I’m too special. I use my snout to help the folks at Carl’s Jr. find the true delicacy of the culinary world is a truffle,” the pig says with a French accent, advising then the man to dig in a certain spot. The pig highlights that, “now, anyone can taste luxury with a creamy truffle-infused cheese sauce, a 100% charbroiled Angus beef patty, and delicious bacon”. Immediately after saying “bacon,” he stops, asking shocked if the burger has bacon.
At the end of the commercial, onscreen lines inform that the new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger from Carl’s Jr., made with natural and artificial truffle flavors, will be available for a limited time at participating locations.
