Netflix has released the trailer for its interactive adventure series You vs. Wild, that puts Bear Grylls in serious peril.
“Dense jungles, towering mountains, brutal deserts and mysterious forests await, with tough decisions around every corner. In this interactive adventure series, you make all the decisions, and whether or not Grylls succeeds or fails is totally up to you,” this is what the streaming service revealed about the new show, whose episodes will feature a viewer-involved experience with multiple choices, where a user can direct the course of the story. Thus, you get to decide if Grylls should run away or fight a wolf, eat an enormous bug or leave it, walk or crawl like a seal, climb up or jump down a mountain, follow the sound of the monkeys or climb a tree, and more. “I’m Bear Grylls. I spent my life showing you how to survive in some of the world’s toughest terrains. Together, you and I, are gonna find our way back to civilization,” Grylls says in voiceover on the trailer. He also highlights “You’re a judge here. You’re on this journey with me. You decide,” adding “And if you don’t make the right choices, it might not end well for me”.
You vs. Wild launched on the streaming service on April 10.
