The Village (NBC Series) – Trailer Song

NBC has released the official trailer for its new drama The Village, about the family you make with the people around you.

According to the official synopsis, “The Village is an apartment building in Brooklyn that appears like any other from the outside – but is quite unique inside. The people who reside here have built a bonded family of friends and neighbors, and their stories prove family is everything”. The characters include Gabe, a young law student who got a much older and unexpected roommate, Sarah, a nurse and single mom raising a creative teen, Ava, a mother who must secure the future of her young, U.S.-born son when ICE comes knocking, Nick, a veteran who’s returned from war, Ron and Patricia, who have captivating tales all their own.

The series, written by Mike Daniels, who also serves as an executive producer, alongside Minkie Spiro (director of the pilot episode) and Jessica Rhoades, stars Moran Atias, Dominic Chianese, Warren Christie, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Daren Kagasoff, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint and Grace Van Dien.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse into the characters’ stories of life – some of them heartwarming, some of them challenging, while in the background the song “What Do You Love” by Seeb feat. Jacob Banks is playing.

The Village Season 1 is set to premiere later this month, on March 19, at 10/9c.
