The UK National Lottery advertises its new Set For Life game in a new advert, urging people to “make every month amazing”.
“Have a monster January,” “Launch into May,” “Scorch through August,” “Make October a scream” onscreen lines read throughout the 30-second spot, which features a man snowboarding with a monster mask in January, another man jumping on a trampoline and launching into the galaxy with a set of wings in May, a couple on a road trip with a trailer in August, and a woman at a costume party in October, who it turns out has won at the National Lottery.
“Make every month amazing,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, highlighting that you can win £10,000 every month for 30 years with Set For Life, the new game from The National Lottery.
The song used in the ad is the 2018 single “I Like It” by American rapper Cardi B featuring Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Colombian singer J Balvin, from her debut studio album, “Invasion of Privacy”.
According to The National Lottery, every time you play Set For Life, which costs just £1.50 per line, you’ll be helping raise around £30m a week for good causes. Set For Life tickets will be available starting from 15th of March 2019. Draw days will be every Monday and Thursday. Besides the top prize, consisting of £10,000 every month for 30 years, players also have the chance to win £10,000 every month for 1 year, as well as sums ranging from £250 to £5, based on the number of main numbers they match.
