Clarins advertises in a new commercial My Clarins, a range of new generation skin care products formulated for women under 30.
The ad shows a group of roommates as they’re starting their morning with the new range “for healthy-looking skin”.
They are applying various My Clarins products, but they are also preparing a smoothie, eating fruit, hanging around in comfortable clothes, that feature text prints like “Beauty,” “Healthy,” “Pretty,” “Natural,” and choosing outfits for the day. In the meantime, they’re also playing with their cute fluffy cat.
The ad also gives information on some of the ingredients used in these new products, such as the organic coconut water, which feeds, and the Alpenrose extract, which detoxifies, and features the 2018 single “Tailwhip” by Montreal trio Men I Trust.
According to the French cosmetics brand, the products in the new My Clarins line-up feature “vegan-friendly formulas,” “eco-friendly packaging” and “no nasties”. Launched in January 2019 with women aged 18-29 as the core consumer target, the new skincare collection is described as ethical and plant-based. The first nine products, including hydrating creams, skin cleansers, a night-time mask, a hydrating beauty mist, a cream for skin imperfection and a pore-perfecting mattifying eraser, are available on the Clarins and Sephora e-shops and at Clarins retailers.
