Missguided has teamed up with American Instagram celebrity Josh Ostrovsky, known commonly as The Fat Jew (@thefatjewish) and “king of self-love,” to bring you the ultimate guide to self-confidence.
Ostrovsky, who is a writer, actor, model, winemaker, entrepreneur, stars in a new advert for the UK-based multi-channel fashion retailer, showing people the way he follows a series of key “steps” for being confident, positive and have fun. One of the main ingredients is, obviously, represented by the clothes you wear, which have to make you feel good and make you look next level from £8. He is seen hanging out with lots of girls, drinking, dancing and having fun, and also in a bathtub, shaving his leg covered in glitter with a pink razor.
Thus, the six steps are to love your body, don’t compare (because you’re always a 10), have fun, dream big and stay humble, just love yourself, and live your best life.
Among the clothes “to make you feel confident from £8” featured throughout the spot are a black stretchy satin lace up bodycon dress, a sand contrast binding co ord crop jacket and matching joggers, a plus size rust zebra print shirt dress, a pink scoop neck cut out swimsuit, a pink stripe halter neck bandeau swimsuit, blue high-waisted extreme fray hem denim shorts, a plus size yellow snake print mini dress, and more.
