MINI USA advertises its Born to Drive sales event in a new commercial, urging people to buckle up, hit start and just go.
“Race into the MINI Born to Drive sales event. And experience the one thing MINI ever wanted to do: drive. To hit start and just go. Fast and far. Around town and around hairpins. To leave everyone in the dust and leave rubber on the road. Because MINI was Born to Drive,” the voiceover says on the 30-second ad, which includes footage of old MINI models juxtaposed with footage of new models.
The spot, scored by “Anno/Four Seasons: Thunder (Summer)” by Anna Meredith feat. Scottish Ensemble, ends with onscreen lines informing that customers can get up to $2,250 off select MINI models during this sales event, which will be taking place between March 22nd and April 1st only. Viewers are also directed to the automaker’s website for additional information on valid offers.
The current MINI family builds on the tradition of the classic Mini, adding state-of-the-art technology and modern levels of safety, quality and reliability, according to the brand, which aims to provide a MINI model “to suit just about everyone”. Drivers can choose from the iconic MINI Hardtop 2 Door, the MINI Hardtop 4 Door with more room for your friends, the open-air motoring experience of the MINI Convertible, the versatile MINI Clubman, or the surprisingly roomy four-door MINI Countryman, available with all-wheel drive.
