HBO Documentary Films 2019 - What's My Name: Muhammad Ali

HBO has released a new trailer, featuring some of its documentary films set to air this year.

The promo includes footage from the four-part documentary series The Case Against Adnan Syed (directed by Academy Award-nominee Amy Berg, which explores the 1999 murder of 18-year-old Hae Min Lee and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed), from Alex Gibney’s documentary film The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley (which revolves around Elizabeth Holmes and her former company Theranos), from the documentary Leaving Neverland, directed and produced by Dan Reed, which focuses on two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege they were sexually abused as children by the singer Michael Jackson, from the documentary What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali, directed by Antoine Fuqua, which explores the journey of Ali from world champion boxer to inspiring social activist. Other documentaries, including United Skates, Song of Parkland, It’s A Hard Truth Ain’t It, Breslin and Hamill Deadline Artists, Running with Beto, Ice on Fire, One Nation Under Stress, and more, are also mentioned.

The soundtrack music is the 2019 single “Pray” by Denver-based producer/DJ Illenium (real name Nick Miller), featuring vocals by Kameron Alexander.
