Buffalo Wild Wings March Madness 2019 Commercial – Overtime

Buffalo Wild Wings March Madness Commercial

Buffalo Wild Wings has released a series of new commercials, part of the chain’s basketball-focused campaign for March Madness.

Created by The Martin Agency, the spots encourage people to watch the games in a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, with beer and wings in front of them and among other fans, for an unrivaled experience. Watching the tournament on a tablet, in your basement, or on a phone with poor service is presented as an irritating experience, instead. One of the ads, that will only air if games head into overtime, shows what some people choose to do during the one commercial break they have. While one of them has to change a diaper, another one picks up the trash, and another one texts his brother in law. The voiceover comes up with the suggestion to order wings and beer with the boys and watch all the other games from all the other regions in a Buffalo Wild Wings bar, across hundreds of TVs.

The chain’s new campaign devoted to the men’s NCAA basketball tournament also includes on-site stools specifically designed for guys who just got vasectomies. Called “Jewel Stools,” they feature a built-in cooling apparatus to provide numbing relief, as well as a chilled cup holder and “beer me” light. They will be available on a first-come, first served basis at Buffalo Wings’ New York City Times Square and Koreatown (LA) locations.
