Audi UK showcases the new Audi A1 in a spot aimed at illustrating the idea that, when it comes to Audi, size doesn’t mean compromise.
The 30-second spot, created by agency BBH London and shot by award-winning director Johnny Hardstaff, features an Audi A1 and an Audi A7 performing a synchronised swim in a pool, and is meant to prove, through impeccable timing, skill and control during the “episode”, that Audi small cars are packed with just as much technology and attitude as the bigger models.
“Precision. It runs in the family,” onscreen lines read at the end of the advert, which debuted on TV on March 16th, during the Six Nations game between England and Scotland, and is set to play across VOD and cinema later in the year.
The soundtrack is a cover of the classic song “Follow me, Follow you” by Genesis, which was arranged by Faultline and performed by Rina Oshunga, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter. The track will be available to download from Spotify at a later date.
The new Audi A1, launched in January this year, is not the only model showcased in this new campaign. Subsequent installments will focus on other entry level models, including the new Audi Q3 and Audi Q2.
