Mango has launched a short version of the film for the fashion brand’s SS19 “New Voices” campaign.
Shot by Alasdair McLellan and aimed at highlighting “the power of culture in the community,” the campaign features “relevant voices in the fashion industry,” including model Adwoa Aboah, who is also a podcaster and activist, known for Gurls Talk, an online forum devoted to female empowerment and self-care, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, who is also an entrepreneur, Marie Shriver, artists Jolie Alien and Sasha Pivovarova, and motocross rider Luna Bijl.
Among the styles showcased are a blazer, cycling shorts, trench coats, floral maxi dresses and more. In terms of hues, the brand proposes a range of pastel shades, including pale pink, lime, sky blue, and beige.
“The creative forces shaping our future,” “Every individual has a role to play,” “Let’s build the future, together” onscreen lines read throughout the ad, which is set to the tune of “I belong in your arms” by New York pop duo Chairlift, from their second full-length album, “Something,” released in 2012.
