“In a world of too much. Sometimes less is what we need more of.” this is the idea behind the latest Chobani commercial, promoting the Chobani Less Sugar Greek Yogurt as being “made with 50% less sugar than other yogurts”.
The 30-second spot, titled “The Wonderful World of Less,” opens with a young curly haired woman in line at a cafeteria, where people are getting too much on their plates. When she asks to “have some less,” she receives a Chobani Less Sugar Greek Yogurt in Monterey Strawberry flavor. As she walks out, she sees the excess things around her floating away and discovers, behind a TV wall, the nature and a stunning view.
The commercial, scored by Rosco Gordon’s 1959 R&B-style blues song “Just A Little Bit,” ends with the onscreen lines “Sometimes less… is what we need more of”.
According to the brand, its Less Sugar Greek Yogurt contains only natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. With 9g of sugar, 12g of protein and 2% milkfat, this yogurt is also available in other flavors, including Wild Blueberry, Alphonso Mango, Clingstone Peach, Gili Cherry, Honey Pistachio, Lemon Cookie, Mango Coconut, Raspberry Chocolate, Vanilla Mocha, Madagascar Vanilla & Cinnamon, and Willamette Raspberry.
