Applebee’s To Go Commercial Song – Nurse Picking Up Order from Applebee’s

Applebee's To Go Commercial

Applebee’s advertises its Carside To Go service in a new commercial.

The spot features a wife and mother of two girls, who wakes up at six in the morning to walk the dogs, go the gym and then at work, at a local hospital, where she’s a nurse. In the evening, after she picks some clothes from the cleaners, she receives a text message from her husband, who wants to know if she has “thoughts on dinner”. She then opens the Applebee’s app and places an order for the entire family. Arrived in the parking lot, she taps the “I’m here” button and an employee brings her the bag at the car. Back at home, she enjoys the meal in the company of her husband, daughters and dog.

The song used in the ad is the 1961 hit single “Runaround Sue” by the American singer-songwriter Dion, from the “Runaround Sue” album.

The Carside To Go service is easy to use. The first step consists in ordering online or downloading the app to receive your carry out. The next thing you should do is arrive at your Applebee’s and park in a designated carside parking spot. After responding by text or tapping the “I’m here” button in the email when you pull up, your order will be brought to your car, curbside.
