Grubhub highlights, in its latest commercial, that, if you want it all and you want it now, Grubhub is the delivery app for you.
The 30-second ad features several people using the Grubhub app to order the food they want, workers in restaurants managing the respective orders and deliverypersons making sure the orders are delivered where they have to. From pizza to cheeseburgers to Asian food, to salads, to dessert, Grubhub users get what they want, right when they want it.
“With over 95,000 restaurants nationwide on the Grubhub app, if you want it all, you can get it all,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, which sees hundreds of Grubhub delivery persons making deliveries at the same address and, inside, a group of friends, indulging themselves with dozens of meals. The voiceover also adds the company’s tagline, “Grubhub. Restaurants you love, delivered”.
The soundtrack music is the 1989 hit single “”I Want It All” by the British rock band Queen, from their thirteenth studio album, “The Miracle”.
In May 2018, Grubhub promoted the RestaurantHER initiative, launched in partnership with Women Chefs & Restaurateurs and aimed at supporting women-led restaurants nationwide, as well as women in leadership roles across the restaurant community. The online and mobile food-ordering company also committed to contribute $1 up to $1 million and help, through WCR – Women Chefs & Restaurateurs, women seeking to advance culinary education and gain recognition in the food industry.
On the website dedicated to this campaign, Grubhub provided a map of woman-led restaurant locations nationwide to allow people locate and support restaurants owned or co-owned by a woman or a kitchen led by a woman head or executive chef.
