The trailer for the upcoming TBS original limited series Miracle Workers has been released.
The show, based on Simon Rich’s book What in God’s name, is a Heaven-set workplace comedy, with Steve Buscemi in the role of God and Daniel Radcliffe in the role of Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers. Geraldine Viswanathan joins the cast as fellow angel Eliza, who, together with Craig, must answer a seemingly unanswerable prayer to prevent Earth’s destruction: help two humans fall in love.
Created by Man Seeking Woman creator Simon Rich and executive produced by Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer of Michaels’ Broadway Video, Simon Rich, Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, the series premieres February 12 at 10:30/9:30c on TBS.
The song used in the trailer is Pink’s 2017 single “I Am Here” from her seventh studio album, “Beautiful Trauma”.
