Zales encourages people to “Make an Unmistakable Statement” this holiday season with pieces from The Diamond Store.
The 60-second commercial features a young woman wearing a red dress and Zales jewelries arriving at a party in the company of some girl friends. With a radiant smile on her face, she drops her coat at the entrance and, after announcing her boyfriend that she arrived, walks down the stairs to get to him, who’s in the middle of the crowd.
Strutting among the other guests her eyes glued to him, she gets a surprise from him that leaves her breathless.
“She tackes your breath away. This holiday, return the favor,” the voiceover says at the end of the ad, which also sees the two lovers kissing each other. The voiceover also encourages viewers to “find her style at Zales, the Diamond Store”.
The soundtrack music is the 1935 song “Cheek to Cheek,” which was written by Irving Berlin for the 1935 movie Top Hat, performed by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald and included on the 1956 album “Ella and Louis”.
