Starbucks Christmas Commercial Song – Caramel Brulee Latte

Starbucks Christmas Commercial - Couple Kissing

Starbucks showcases its Holiday 2018 menu in a series of new ads, inviting people to “sip a cup of magic with Starbucks”.

One of the commercials features Kevin, a man who grabs his two Caramel Brulee Lattes and sets out to meet up with his partner. On his way, he steps away from a child who rushes towards her grandmother, from a teenage girl who goes towards her father, to embrace him, and passes by a mother-daughter duo. Stepping down to the subway, he arrives just in time to welcome his girlfriend, whose face is lit by a large smile seeing him and the two Starbucks red cups.

The song playing in the background is titled “Sip A Cup Of Magic” and was specifically composed for this ad by Production Music.

The 2018 holiday menu also includes Peppermint Mocha, which will also be available, just like the Caramel Brulee Latte, for a limited time only.

The coffee company unveiled its holiday cups earlier this month, on November 1st. After the controversy created with its 2015 red holiday cup, criticized for not including traditional Christmas imagery, in 2017, Starbucks had a cup featuring nods to Christmas tradition, such as a decorated Christmas tree and a diverse cast of Starbucks customers, including a pair of cartoon women holding hands. Introduced by an online video that proclaimed “the holidays mean something different to everyone,” this cup did not avoid controversy either, critics wondering if the coffee company is using its holiday cups to promote the inclusion of gay and transgender customers.
