Simply Be has launched its Christmas ad, delivering an empowering message to all women, regardless of their shape and size.
The 30-second spot features four different models (Felicity, Leah, Sonny and Clem) rocking pieces from the holiday collection, which includes party dresses, party shoes, lingerie and winter day looks. “simply be fearless. simply be free. simply be unforgettable. simply be more than our bodies. simply be who you want to be.” onscreen lines read throughout the advert, which ends with the retailer’s website flashing across the screen, along with the information on the available sizes (from 12 to 32) and the hashtag #MORETHANOURBODIES.
The soundtrack music is the 2012 single “Not Giving In” by British drum and bass band Rudimental, featuring vocals from John Newman and Alex Clare and included on the band’s debut studio album, “Home”.
The retailer’s Christmas collection includes a black star sequin swing dress, a black sequin shift dress, a glitter knot wrap dress, featuring a sexy wrapover and knot detail to the front, kimono-style sleeves and an incredible all-over glitter design, a teal metallic dress, made in a stunning metallic knit and featuring a tie waistband for extra comfort and batwing sleeves, and many other pieces, from bras to pyjamas, to camisole, faux fur jackets, and accessories including a smartphone ring light, a pusheen ceramic travel mug, a pusheen tassel charger, pusheen cat headphones, a glitter lips clutch bag, and more.
