“Some people choose to follow traditions. Some prefer to make their own. The holidays are where you take them. And with a Jeep SUV you can take them anywhere.” this is the idea conveyed by Jeep in its Christmas commercial.
The 30-second ad, titled “Colorful Christmas,” features the automaker’s full vehicle line-up, including Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Renegade, Jeep Compass, Jeep Wrangler, and promotes its Black Friday Sales Event, which gives customers the chance to get additional Black Friday bonus cash of $500 on the 2019 Jeep Cherokee. If, throughout the ad, every SUV is shown in a different environment – from a forest to the seaside, to the city streets, to the desert, at the end of the ad, the five models are all shown together, against a white snowy landscape in the mountains.
Serving as the soundtrack is OneRepublic’s re-imagination of “White Christmas,” which will be available for free download exclusively on Jeep.com until Thursday, November 8 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
This is the second time this year the American pop rock band collaborates with the Jeep brand. The New 2019 Jeep Cherokee, as well as other Jeep models, were advertised as the automaker’s “official vehicles of summer,” in a commercial that features four friends driving up to Vista Point in a 2019 Jeep Cherokee to watch the OneRepublic show. The song used in that ad is the band’s 2018 single “Connection”, released back in June.
