JBL Commercial Song: Woman Singing in Public – Shakira

JBL Commercial - Girl Singing Shakira's Song

JBL advertises its Wireless Headphones in a hilarious new ad, released with the tagline “Original Pro Sound like you’re really there”.

The commercial, titled “Booth,” opens with a young woman in a recording studio performing Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” amazingly, as if she was really the Colombian singer. As the video goes on, though, it turns out the girl was actually in a grocery store, listening to Shakira’s song through her JBL wireless headphones and singing along, to the amusement of bystanders, who also get to see her moving her hips – or at least trying to – like Shakira.

The commercial ends with the tagline “Original Pro Sound like you’re really there” flashing across the screen alongside the brand’s wireless headphones.

This is not the first time the audio brand opted for a comedic spot to showcase its wireless headphones. In a commercial released last year, a man in jail, who thinks his new JBL Wireless Headphones are great, recalls the situations that brought him into a jail cell, which are all caused by his headphone wire. If initially wasn’t convinved that wires are that bad, he realizes that wireless is the way to go.

The JBL Wireless Headphones enable users to wirelessly stream music, calls and more with up to 20 hours of battery life in a single charge. The Wireless range includes dozens of models of wireless in-ear and on-ear headphones, including wireless over-ear headphones Quincy Edition, with Quincy’s signature sound.

JBL is now offering free 2-day shipping on portable speakers and headphones over $19.95.
