Fitbit encourages people to “Unwrap inspiration with a Fitbit Versa this holiday” in its Christmas ad, aimed at highlighting that this kind of gift is the gift of health and fitness and that “a little Fitbit box can hold a lot of love”.
The 15-second spot features a mother who receives from her two little daughters a Fitbit Versa smartwatch as a Christmas present, which motivates her to do yoga even if they are playing just between her legs as she does that.
The song playing in the background is “A Little Taste of Soul” by award-winning artist Sugar Pie DeSanto, included on the 2017 album “A Little Bit Of Soul 1957-1962”, which features some of the earliest 45s of the fabulous blues and soul singer and the full content of the LP she released on Checker Records in 1962.
The Fitbit Versa is a health & fitness smartwatch that lasts 4+ days and features 24/7 heart rate, phone-free music, apps, coaching & more.
Coming in three different color combinations – Black/Black Aluminum, Peach/Rose Gold Aluminum, and Gray/Silver Aluminum, priced at $199.95, the smartwatch is also available as a special edition – one in Charcoal Woven/Graphite Aluminum and one in Lavender Woven/Rose Gold Aluminum, priced at $229.95. The special edition also contains Fitbit Pay and an extra classic band.
