Amazon advertises its Echo Spot, Echo Show and Echo Dot in a series of new emotional ads.
The one showcasing the Echo Spot tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a little boy and a piglet, named Charlie. The kid has a night routine with his four-legged friend, reading to him a bedtime story in the armchair from the living room. When Charlie grows, he is moved out, to live in a pigpen, which leaves the boy in tears.
Luckily, with the Echo Spot, he can keep seeing him and reading a bedtime story, every night, even if they are in different places, through video calling. Throughout the ad, it is also shown that the Alexa-enabled speaker can also dim the lights.
According to the e-commerce company, the stylish, compact Echo with a screen also lets you watch video flash briefings, see music lyrics, weather forecasts, to-do and shopping lists, browse and listen to Audible audiobooks, and more. The speaker connects to Alexa to play music, read the news, answer questions, set music alarms, control smart home, and more. The Echo Spot is available for purchase on Amazon for $129.99. When you buy two, you can save $40.EFW
