Adam Levine stars in the new Yves Saint Laurent’s Y Eau de Parfum campaign.
The 30-second spot, filmed by music-video director Colin Tilley, opens with the lead singer of the band Maroon 5 driving a convertible down a street, playing the drums (bare-chested) in a garage, putting on a black T-shirt in front a mirror and heading out of a room toward the rooftop of a building, his guitar in hands, to greet the hundreds of fans gathered in the street. “No matter how far I’ve come, no matter how much I’ve done, I’ll keep pushing. That’s why I belive. That’s why I’ll never stop,” Levine says in voiceover.
The soundtrack music is “So Tied Up” by American indie rock band Cold War Kids featuring Bishop Briggs, from the band’s sixth studio album, “L.A. Divine,” released in 2017.
The Y Eau de Parfum, described as a “seductive interpretation on the iconic YSL white t-shirt and black jacket,” features notes of bergamot, sage, balsam fir, and cedar wood and is available as a 60ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum. Prices range from $90 to $115.
Levine was announced as the face of YSL Beauty’s new Y eau de parfum in October 2017. For those who don’t know, Adam Levine has his own line of fragrances, which includes Adam Levine for Men and Adam Levine for Women.
