Volvo advertises its Global Graduate Programme, for which the 2019 application opens on November 1st, in a new spot.
“Want to explore the world, learn new things, make an impact, have fun while being you? Welcome to Volvo Car Group’s Global Graduate Programme 2019” onscreen lines read throughout the 30-second ad, which features graduates and members of the worldwide Volvo Cars team laughing and even dancing in sync.
At the end of the spot, viewers are directed to the automotive company’s website and read more in the “Career” section.
The soundtrack music is the 2017 deep house track “Lagoon” by Norwegian music producer Jon Are Kulsveen, professionally known as J.A.K.
Volvo’s Global Graduate Programme includes different fields, such as autonomous drive, connectivity, software development, consumer services and new business models, but also marketing, finance, sales and communications, and offers positions in the US, China, and Sweden. All 2019 Global Graduates start with a common Global Graduate Programme introduction week in Gothenburg (Sweden) on September 2, 2019.
Since 2010, when this global programme was set up, 170 have completed it, with 89% of them still within the company, and more than half in leadership positions, according to the statistics provided by the automaker.
