Target heralds the addition of new brands in a series of new ads, released with the tagline “New Brands, New Friends”.
One of the spots, introducing Wild Fable, stars Kabrina Adams (@moonbeardiedhere), Jules Lorenzo (@julesmoriah), Brenn Lorenzo (@brennzolorenzo), Ajani Russell (@ajvni) and (@kyrstianity) playing hopscotch, skating and drawing a purple smiley face on the concrete at the skating park while rocking Wild Fable pieces, which are new at Target, such as a long-sleeve pullover sweatshirt designed with a cropped silhouette and easy fit, that features a mock neckline and is completed with rib-knit detailing at the cuffs, hem and neckline, utility cargo pants in blue and green camo, featuring mid-rise waist with belt loops, elastic back and fly hook and zipper, plus-size black wide-leg pants with contrast stitching, featuring high-rise construction with a fly button and zip closure, blue plaid fashion pants with subtle flare at the ankles, cut in a high-rise fit with an elastic waistband and finished with side zipper pockets, a cropped tank top in bold plaid pattern, featuring adjustable straps, and more.
The Wild Fable collection also includes Corduroy flare pants in orange, featuring mid-rise waist with front zip closure and two front cargo pockets, a sleeveless jumpsuit with buttoned bodice, V-neckline and ankle-length hems, a long-sleeve sweatshirt in red with contrasting striped detail across the front in blue, white, orange and black, designed with a mock neckline that’s finished off with a half-zip closure. Hoodies, leggings, shoes, bags, accessories are also included in the Wild Fable collection.
The soundtrack music in the commercial is the 1970 single “Hand Clapping Song” by the funk group The Meters, from their third studio album, “Struttin’,” which is the band’s first album featuring vocal performances.
