T.J. Maxx Advert Song – Something For Every You

“You are many different things in one amazing package. T.J. Maxx gives you the freedom to express every one of them with our unique mix of must-have brands at must-buy prices,” the voiceover says on the 30-second spot, adding that “you can be active or totally relaxed, you can shop online or take it home today,” and that “you’ll always save on something for every you”.

At the end of the spot, which specifies that savings are based on comparison to regular prices of comparable items at full-price department or specialty retailers and that styles vary by store, the voiceover adds the retailer’s tagline, “Maxx You. Maxx Life”.

The soundtrack music is Mel Tormé’s cover of “Games People Play” (originally released in 1968 by Joe South as “Introspect” before being reissued as “Games People Play” when the title track became a hit). The song appears on the “A Time for Us (Love Theme From Romeo & Juliet)” album, on the “Ultra-Lounge: Rock ‘n’ Roll Hits On The Rocks, Part 2” album and on the “Ultra-Lounge: Vegas Baby!” album.
