smart showcases the electric smart EQ fortwo and forfour in a new ad running in the UK, that encourages people to drive electric.
The spot features a variety of characters, such as two young men in a music shop – one looking for a vinyl and the other one, headphones on, dancing to the tune he’s listening to, a couple on a rainy night rushing to get inside, even though they have an umbrella, a man who, after getting out of his smart, starts to dance in the rain, an art class where all the students paint the same thing, and an artist who paints the wall of a room, and even a part of the window.
“Second loves the beat. First is the beat. Second hides. First enjoys. Second copies. First creates.” onscreen lines read throughout the ad, which ends with the voiceover saying “Be first. Drive electric”.
The soundtrack music is the 2015 single “Handsome” by English indie rock band The Vaccines, from their third studio album, “English Graffiti”.
