Samsung encourages you to “Up your Game with the Galaxy Note9, S9+, or Tab S4,” in a new ad, starring Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and global music artist Travis Scott.
The commercial opens with a teenage girl in her room playing Fortnite on the new Galaxy Note 9. Her mother shows up, telling her the local game shop wants to sponsor her. Soon after, she is informed that Travis Scott invited her to his place to “get these squad wins for the crew,” and, while she’s at the rapper’s house, having fun, she is informed – by her mom, once again, that Ninja is calling her up to the national team.
As the spot ends, it turns out it has all been happening in the girl’s head.
This is not the first time Ninja partners with Samsung. Earlier this year, in late August, he played a key role in the brand’s ad campaign for the initial launch of the Note 9. He even received a special version of the device several days prior to its release, allowing him to don the Galaxy skin in-game a whole three days before anyone else.
Samsung has also organized a contest that gives one lucky winner the chance to play Fortnite with Ninja and Travis Scott, and win, in addition, some expensive gear.
