Killing Eve Season 2 (Trailer Song)

Killing Eve Season 2

The thrilling crime drama Killing Eve, starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, returns with its second season in 2019.

Written by Fleabag scribe Phoebe Waller-Bridge based on Luke Jennings’ Codename Villanelle novellas, the show revolves around MI6 agent Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and serial killer Villanelle (Jodie Comer) as they follow each other on a twisty path through murder and mutual obsession.

Oh and Comer will reprise their lead roles and Fiona Shaw will also return as the mysterious operative Carolyn in season 2. The cast will also see some new additions, including Nina Sosanya, Edward Bluemel and Julian Barratt, the latter making a guest appearance.

The teaser for the upcoming season, running 15-seconds, features the onscreen lines “Pick Killing Eve. Choose Killing Eve. Love Killing Eve” juxtaposed with scenes from the first season, including the one in which Eve hits a cracked glass wall in the bus station, the one in which Vilannelle threatens Eve in her home by putting a knife to her neck and the one in which Eve meets Villanelle in a bathroom.

“I’m gonna kill you,” Eve tells Vilanelle after being threathened with the knife. “No, you’re not. You like me too much,” Villanelle replies.

The teaser, scored by the 2016 track “After Dinner” by Unloved, which is included in the soundtrack of Season 1, informs that Season 2 of Killing Eve will premiere in 2019.
