Coach advertises its new fragrance for men, Coach Platinum, in a new spot.
The 10-second ad, set against the skyline of Manhattan, features a bottle of Coach Platinum on a car. In the background, the 2014 single “It’s Alright” by Doppio (a duo consisting of Tim and Brittany Cretella), from their eponymous album, is playing.
“Inspired by a road trip that begins and ends in New York City,” the new Coach Platinum is described as “distinctive woody & sensual fragrance that speaks to a bold, daring and magnetic man”. Developed by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic, the scent has notes of black pepper, pineapple, juniper berries, patchouli, cashmere and vanilla, and is available as a 60 and 100ml Eau de Parfum.
The mirrored bottle features bright silver lacquer, smooth metallic touch and sleek glass, and references many of Coach’s iconic codes: a turn lock spray cap, faux-leather hangtag, and Horse & Carriage logo engraving. The two-colored outer packaging combines brushed silver and black-blue leather-grained sides for a contrasting effect.
In 2017, the American fashion label partnered with James Franco to promote the release of its Coach For Men fragrances.
