Clorox advertises its Disinfecting Wipes in a new spot, highlighting that clean matters, especially during cold and flu season.
Titled “Sick Day,” the 15-second ad features a little girl sneezing and wiping her hand on the floor just before her dad arrives with a snack. As he’s trying to sit next to hear, by the fireplace, he places one of his hands right on the spot she used as a napkin and slips. He then grabs a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe and cleans the surface, removing the germs and leaving it spotless.
“Clean is the beginning,” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is scored by the Italian song “Motivo Di Giorgia” by Gianfranco Plenizio, included on the 2010 “Gli ordini sono ordini (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)” album.
Another spot recently released, featuring a girl sneezing over the kitchen table and her brother eating spaghetti off the table, showcases the brand’s Clean-Up Cleaner + Bleach, which is specially designed to clean a variety of surfaces and kills 99.9% of bacteria & viruses, Clorox has recently introduced The What Comes Next Project, aimed at showing how clean can help transform the world and encouraging people to join the brand in creating a cleaner world together, through projects big and small.

These products are recommended to disinfect frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, remote controls, countertops, showers, sinks, bathtubs, light switches, and toilets, as they help kill 99.9% of germs and bacteria.
