ABC advertises its Single Parents sitcom in a new promo, featuring critics reviews.
The comedy series, created by Elizabeth Meriwether and J. J. Philbin, revolves around a group of adults who must venture through single parenthood with their young kids and stars Leighton Meester, Taran Killam, Kimrie Lewis, Marlow Barkley, Jake Choi, Tyler Wladis, Mia Allan, Devin Trey Campbell, Ella Allan, and Brad Garrett.
The show, which premiered on September 26, shows how Will Cooper, a 30-something father who has been so focused on raising his daughter that he’s lost sight of who he is as a man, is helped by a group of other single parents to get into the dating world again.
The promo, set to the rhythms of the 2016 song “One Life” by Krysta Youngs, includes footage of the protagonists and reviews made by TVLINE. Thus, the sitcom is presented as “easily the funniest new sitcom of the fall” and the cast ensemble as “top-notch across the board”.
Each episode of Single Parents is half-hour long and airs on Wednesdays, from 9:30pm.
