Hyundai showcases the 2019 Hyundai Elantra in a new ad.
The spot features the brand’s new compact sedan, which has received a significant refresh in terms of exterior design, driving through a city where usual items, such as bikes, buses and buildings, and more are made from mirrors. Live statues covered in small mirrors, a French bulldog on the sidewalk, reflecting himself in a mirror, a woman reflected in a man’s suitcase, which is also a mirror, a guy reading a book that seems a mirror, a moving truck also covered in mirror are among the elements that help shining a light on the 2019 Hyundai Elantra, which stands out from the crowd.
“Before you decide to drive the stylish, new Hyundai Elantra, you’d better be okay with not blending in,” the automaker “warns” its potential costumers. The commercial, scored by a French song, ends with the onscreen lines “Bold never blends” and “The New Elantra”.
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra’s exterior design includes, among others, rounded front fascia, triangle-shaped headlights and fog lights intersecting with the grille, now sharper, base of the headlights matching up with the top-most slat in the grille, two new creases on the hood lining up with vertical slats in the grille, illuminated parts in the rear as crisp zigzagging lines, large Elantra lettering stretching across the lid, and license plate housing moved from the trunk lid to the bumper.
All trim levels feature a 5-inch touchscreen as standard along with a rear-view camera and dynamic guidelines on the screen, Bluetooth, and steering wheel controls. The top-end Limited gets an 8-speaker sound system with subwoofer, Qi wireless phone charging, and Safe Exit Assist.
In terms of safety, the compact sedan now includes camera-based forward collision prevention, lane-keeping assist, and driver attention alert as standard equipment on the second-lowest SEL trim and above.
