Pepsi NFL Theme Song Commercial – Feat. Dak Prescott, Antonio Brown, Luke Kuechly & Terry Bradshaw

Pepsi has released a new commercial to celebrate its status of Official Soft Drink of the NFL and advertise its new promotions, which include the Pepsi Tailgate Tour of football games.

The spot, from agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners and titled “NFL Theme Song,” features die-hard football fans as they gear up for Kickoff with lots of Pepsi. Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown, Steelers Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw, Carolina Panthers’ linebacker Luke Kuechly and Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott also star. Bradshaw, for instance, is singing the NFL theme song while having “Steelers” tattooed on his arm and holding a Pepsi can, Brown is taking a selfie and smiles while sitting in a tub filled with freezing cold water, and Prescott is training on the field, before the game.

According to an announcement from Pepsi, there wil be a second commercial, dubbed “Ice the Kicker” and set to launch in mid-September, that will feature Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera and Devin Funchess and tell “the story about how thousands of fans in a stadium use the power of Pepsi to make the game they love even better”.

The new Pepsi football promotions include limited-edition Pepsi cans featuring 15 NFL teams on Pepsi 16 oz. cans and 32 NFL teams on Pepsi multi-pack cans, and Pepsi Tailgate Tour of football games, with shows by country duo LOCASH open to all attendees of the games. The stadium tailgates hosted by Pepsi beginning September 15 as part of the multicity tour, which is in partnership with a number of Pepsi’s key NFL and collegiate-level teams including the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins, will have a gaming area featuring cornhole, ladder ball and giant Jenga, and will offer fans the chance to win Pepsi Stuff items and game tickets, free Pepsi drinks, Frito-Lay snacks and other tailgate food. There will also be surprise meet-and-greets with NFL players and cheerleaders.

Pepsi, which has been a longtime partner for the NFL, is thus rolling out its biggest football marketing campaign to date.
