“What If You Got a Second Chance?” this is the question raised in the promo for NBC’s upcoming drama series Manifest, set to premiere tonight, Monday, 24 September, at 10/9c.
The show, created by Jeff Rake, revolves around the passengers of an airline plane that suddenly reappear after being presumed dead for over five years. The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur, and Luna Blaise. “After a mysterious disappearance, the souls on Flight 828 find they have a second chance to love, to live and to fulfill their destinies,” the official synopsis reveals, while the promo features some of the passengers before the Montego Air Flight 828 and after, when they discover that, while for them a few hours have passed in the air, their families and friends presumed they were dead for five and a half years. “What if your life was torn apart and put back together? What if you got a second chance to love, to live your destiny?” onscreen lines read throughout the promo, which is scored by “Manifest” the Trailer Theme composed by Production Music.
Earlier this summer, on August 28, the first nine minutes of the first episode were released among various digital outlets and on September 10, the series took part in the 12th Annual PaleyFest Fall Television Previews, which featured a preview screening of the series.
