Mango has launched its Fall/Winter 2018 campaign, titled “Together”, which brings together renowned fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti with some of the world’s best-loved acting, modelling, music and design personalities.
The film, aimed at celebrating not only fashion, but also diversity, friendship and family, features Adwoa Aboah, posing together with her sister Kesewa and cousin Alewya, Adrien Brody, the ambassador of Mango’s menswear collection, who was captured by Sorrenti with one of his passions in life, animals, Amber Valletta and Carolyn Murphy, who are close friends, and even Sorrenti’s actual family – his sister, daughter and her husband. The cast also includes skateboard champion Steve Olson with his son Alex, stylists Zoe Bedeaux and Helena Tejedor, and artist Langley Fox. They’re all wearing pieces from the 1970s-inspired collection, which features an eclectic range of colours, from ochres and faded pastels to Matisse-inspired florals and offbeat checks. Chunky knits, animal print, snakeskin, two-piece suits, refined denim, corduroy and buttery-soft leather are some of the elements combined for stylist yet comfortable looks.
“Love together. Live together. Imagine together. Let’s be together,” the voiceover says on the 60-second ad, scored by the 1991 single “Movin on Up” by Scottish rock band Primal Scream, featured on the soundtrack of the 2004 British art romantic drama 9 Songs.
