Macy’s showcases its Fall 2018 collection in a new ad, that features real, remarkable women and is aimed at inspiring women to take on any challenge as they have the potential to do remarkable things.
The 60-second film stars orchestra conductor Joann Falletta on stage, conducting her orchestra, public defender Tiffiny Blacknell, aerospace engineer Mishaal Ashemimry launching a rocket into orbit, civil engineer Patricia Valoy walking with confidence on a construction site, with her helmet on, 4th grade teacher Vanessa Beckman doing a science experiment with the kids, and NBA assistant coach Becky Hammon encouraging team players.
“Find Fall Fashion. Find the Remarkable You.” onscreen lines read at the end of the spot, which is set to No Doubt’s 1995 single “Just a Girl” from their third studio album, “Tragic Kingdom”.
Among the pieces featured in the ad are a Lauren Ralph Lauren Bullion-Patch Striped Blazer, Lauren Ralph Lauren Short-Sleeve Crew-Neck Tee, Lauren Ralph Lauren Premier Straight Ankle Jeans, the Tommy Hilfiger Striped Two-Tone Shirt, I.N.C. Women’s Zitah Pointed Toe Pumps, created for Macy’s, which are now on sale, at $41,70 (reduced from 69,50), the I.N.C. Suede O-Ring Trench Coat, created for Macy’s, worn on top of the I.N.C. Ruffled High-Low Maxi Dress, also created exclusively for Macy’s, and accessorized with the I.N.C. Marney Metallic Crossbody, created for Macy’s, too. Calvin Klein Skinny Pants in Rosewood, paired with a white Calvin Klein Pleated Blouse and Calvin Klein Women’s Gayle Pointed-Toe Pumps represent the outfit rocked by Vanessa Beckman, who’s also wearing the I.N.C. Gold-Tone & Bead Looped Tassel Drop Earrings, created for Macy’s. Patricia Valoy is seen sporting the I.N.C. Plus Size Striped Wrap Top, .N.C. Plus Size Embellished Distressed Skinny Jeans, I.N.C. Women’s Zitah Pointed Toe Pumps, and I.N.C. Gold-Tone Large Hoop Earrings, all created for Macy’s.
